You can connect not only TV sets, game consoles and other devices to a single WLAN, but also entire subnets. I connected this adapter to a switch, and can now with any other device connected to the switch to wireless. So it's sort of a wireless stick for any number of PCs, or even an "inverse Access Point". One can thus perfectly set up a LAN, even if no cable can be laid in sections. Also DHCP server can be operated via WLAN boundaries.
