Absolutely in line with what I expected I did that a function switch + access point (without router function) and through the online manuals I managed to make it work without routing (direct connection to the box and emitting a network in the same IP address scheme) Simply connect to 192.168.0.1 on a blue LAN switch ports (default is DHCP server in this range). It should initially uncheck the DHCP server (Network Settings), and then clear the UPnP (Advanced Settings) function, the IP addresses will be assigned by your box and not by the D-Link (becoming transparent). Then you must assign a fixed IP address subnet your box (Network Settings) then obviously reassign an IP on your PC in your subnet or wait for automatic IP of your box (if your box is connected to a blue port) in order to reconnect the product to the configured IP by you. Voila, careful to connect your box to a port switch (blue) and leave it blank Internet port (yellow). Of course it will configure the wireless part (SSID, security, etc ...) and other functions if necessary. The product is very comprehensive and there is something fun (filtering, firewall, etc ...) In Tools / Time, a handy feature: You can set operating hours (WiFi and stop the emission during the night for example). The internal switch function connects wired devices 3 (mode described above) or 4 (if you stay in router mode, box the yellow port) and therefore avoids to buy a switch next (still we have some equipment connect around). I did not test the actual coverage because I have a small area and it is perfect for me (note that the output power can be adjusted with a few levels to avoid issuing too far). In short, for the price, fully satisfied.
