For outdoor use, this coupling is mE unsuitable. Although the clutch is heavy and gives a solid impression, the rubber is to the cable outlet far too thin and therefore too soft. If you hold the cable about 10 15 cm - away from the clutch up, the weight of the coupling may already be sufficient to detect an approximately 1 mm wide gap between the cable outlet and cable.

In addition, I have noticed that the connection for the protective conductor mE is offset in the wrong direction. I'm no electrician, but he would mW little closer towards the cable lie, so that in case of a tear he dissolves last. In this clutch, however it is compared to the other terminals about 2-3mm further away.

Nevertheless, I will keep the item as it is used only indoors and I left the ground wire longer.
