Now to the music:
What becomes immediately apparent is that dominates on this album more speed as Folk. Which means that this time most of the songs are a bit faster and the skirt elements (somewhat) are of dominant than on the last CD. But still the Folk does not come off! This time also come increasingly Banjos used, giving the songs a new, unprecedented touch! In my opinion, these tools fit perfectly with the Fiddler sound, sound refreshingly different and animate to dance!
But variety is guaranteed:
There are features with Michael Rhein and Marco Zorzyzky (In Extremo) that I really like and complete the musical picture.
In any event worth mentioning is the extremely successful Instumental "Tam Lin"! While many bands Instrumentals often degenerated into loveless gap fillers, Fiddlers Green do with that piece of one of the highlights on the album!
My Conclusion:
This new work of the band from Erlangen is something for the feet and for the heart!
Fans will love it!
