I use the cooler for an older laptop from Fujitsu-Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile series. This model is on the laptop bottom right in the middle always very warm (at the exact point where you will find the processor louvers). Moreover, it is at the top edge of the keyboard is also very warm (almost hot) and that directly in the corners left and right above where the speakers are mounted. Now the laptop runs for many hours every day with us without a break, so I decided a few weeks ago to use the Silverstone-cooler for testing purposes. The laptop measures 36cm in width and 26cm in depth. He stands over wide hand left and right, respectively 5mm, because the radiator is 25cm wide. The depth of the cooler fits exactly with 26cm. When writing this review was the laptop already rd. five hours permanently. Neither on the laptop bottom yet at the two upper corners is a significant heat development to feel. At its front edge, the cooler is about 15mm high, 35mm rear. The thus given slant could still enlarge, since the radiator has on its rear bottom more than two wide, folding up feet, so that you still might additionally provide air supply here. The rear height is then increased to at least 55mm. But then the cooler is for me too weird - and in consequence also the laptop. So I left that and believe that the air supply and discharge is also sufficiently. The large, centrally current fan, diameter 16cm (!) Running, absolutely silent, only the wind noise is very quiet to hear anything but definitely thus without acoustic harassment. The volume of the cooler is also not to be compared with the very noisy coolers, which are built into the laptop, but I have not heard since I got this cooler in action. The radiator has on its top a wertig looking metal grid, which simultaneously conveys the distinct impression that can be placed on the laptop, without breaking through the same downward. The fan is best connected by a USB 2.0-A connector equal right next to a laptop USB ports. Since my laptop model has not so many USB ports, I have connected to a USB port on a port of the Fa. Conrad with seven USB-A connectors (Metal 7-port USB 2.0 hub). In one of these jacks now put the radiator connection and the radiator works so flawlessly. An on / off switch does not exist, the cooler automatically starts up when the laptop is turned on - and vice versa when you turn off it then stops again automatically. I can only recommend the radiator, the price-performance ratio I hold absolutely flawlessly.
