Ken Folett has accustomed us to much better, which is why it's hard to be enthusiastic about this story whose first chapters quickly erased any outstanding apart from amnesia due to the hero. Heroes in all its grandeur also: handsome, rich, brave, handsome and I forget. But to take the positives, it should be noted that the way the author treats his hero amnesia is quite interesting. This is not so much the search for lost identity is remarkable but how amnesic can apprehend his future based on the past restored by relatives added his immediate perceptions devoid of a priori an erased past (you follow me?). A highlight too, although anecdotal, description in simple terms of the design of the first American rocket that sent a satellite. Finally, it seemed to me that this novel was cut in such a way that it would be easy to make a film. Is it already done? Was this intentional?
