It is missing something important ...

... Star Wars atmosphere. The sprayed the graphically more than respectable and quite challenging game at the beginning.
Republic Commando was supposed to be a tactical shooter in the Star Wars universe. Tactical shooter, it has become, just kind of Star Wars has broken down somewhere along the line.
No later than after half of the game, one wonders, is the STAR WARS? Dark (almost like in Alien) transitions, blood (? !!!) And opponents who absolutely does not look like in Star Wars, plus places (Ghost Ship, Kashyyk at night) not Disseminating the touch of Star Wars atmosphere.
Positive noticed are:
- Graphics (TOP)
- The team (great comments and teammates) - little note ... clones should still have all the same voice, or ???
- Geonosis (looks great!)
- SPOILER: General Grievous
- Class sound effects and music
- Inter Essate story with background information about Episode 3

Negative contrast:
- Level 2 and 3 do not look like STAR WARS
- Battledroids not look like in the prequels, who painted those eyes?
- Since when are Super Battledroids so hard to destroy? in episode 2 the many neara so quickly from each other as the rest of Altmetals.
- Trandoshianer, see not at all the same as in Boosk Epiode 5, here they jump around like monkeys.
- Shotgun in SW universe?
- No NPC Jedi
- Little variety
- Compared to BATTLEFRONT the animation of Droidekas is very poor

Despite all these negative points it's an interesting game, hence the 4 stars. But SW fans will be very disappointed.
