"Electronics for Dummies" is no exception to the failure of all these books that boast teach you electronics (broad topic!) From scratch in 15 chapters and 300 to 400 pages. It is a joyful mix of topics for basic zero level and those BTS: - color code = // carrier signal carrying the audio signal in the air !!! (With that one is filled!) // // Namely soldering application of Ohm's law to the inductive reactance ... It touches on important issues, and spends 20 pages on the coils and crystals! I like the photo of the logic analyzer testing a circuit that is not logical (UM3482) by touching the pin 8 which is the 0 volt!
Despite what is said in the pub, that does not explain how to operate the mobile phone, the laptop or the 46-inch plasma TV!
There more than 20 years, Publitronic published the adventures of "Resi and Transi" in comics which was far more didactic than that book.
