These days I noticed the power back into the hands and I wanted to give him another chance. So I have first of all the software on my Android (Nexus S, with Android Ice Cream Sandwich) is installed and updated as the next one more time the firmware on Live View. Actually, I did not expect that this time it works, but what can I say. Impeccable. Not a single disconnection.
For the unit at the end still gets 5 stars.
However, the overall rating falls from a little worse, because the supplied strap is a simple design flaw. The rubber stretch is just inexpensive, which would have to get over yet, but that you have to take out the Live View from the mount to charge it is simply botch. Therefore only 4 stars.
My attempts:
HTC Desire with Android 2.2 (Froyo) and the LiveView firmware from October: No chance.
Samsung Nexus S with Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and the LiveView firmware from December: 1A
The power consumption at the mobile phone is of no consequence. In my usage Android shows 3% for the "Live View application" on. The LiveView battery lasts about 2 to 3 days.
