We could hear the mice scratching frequently ceiling in every room of the house (on one level). So I followed the comments and bought this scarer.
First observation is very loud to scare the mouse. Indeed, the word "Quiet" (Silent him) had no results, so he had to go into "normal mode" but there's been a very careful audible whine!
So we did work in the day when we started working. After about a week significantly less mouse noise. so I went mode "rodent" in "insect" mode to see and again, the sounds fell again (as the volume, making bearable use the weekend off nights).
Today, it still must remain some mice in the attic I think, but I does not run continuously (too noisy). It's a shame, I really thought it would ultrasound but it is just "sound".
So it works but not recommended at night if what separates your attic room is just a plasterboard plate like us! Or you could do like the mouse and run away too!
