It has worked for me:
1. Headlight with plenty of water clean to avoid possible even more scratches.
2. grind deep scratches and very severe clouding with 800 / eight hundreds wet sandpaper
It is also 1000 / thousands wet sandpaper
Please do not forget the water. So make nice wet.
As long grind to a uniform (slightly cloudy) surface.
3. Clean with a lot of clear water
4. Plastic polish evenly. Leave for 1 minute
5. With a polishing machine to polish headlights. A machine must be unconditional, and does not cost much.
Headlights not polish too hot. I've been to about 1 - 2 minutes to change one lamp.
6. When the polish is gone, check the result eventuel again with polish over it.
I have a 1-hour wet sandpaper (800-er particle size)
work and 1 hour with plastic polish (per headlamp)
and they now look like new, and also the main examination HU passed.
Consumes I have less than a third of the contents of the bottle !!!
I have saved 80 to 120 per headlights!
A polishing machine with references to 10 it already - give 29.
As I said the success rate still some trouble and I needed just almost 4 hours, but it was my value! I could also imagine that you manage in half the time myself.
ATTENTION !
I give only my own experiences further. Whether these can be transferred to other headlamp is not safe!
