The item description is incorrect. This lens has definitely no SDM technique and therefore no ultrasonic motors! The lens would otherwise probably also much more expensive. I wanted to take this opportunity to point out just to avoid bad buys. Nevertheless, I give on this occasion 5 stars because I have the lens and am very happy with it. It is nice and compact, well made and has a very good picture quality. In conjunction with my K7 the focus is sufficiently fast without USM / SDM.
