I was looking for one with optical output for 5.1 sound card to use my helmet tritton pro..Je suspected my Audigy 2Z editoir video card will emit only 2.0. It not only emits 5.1 but most drivers turn any source live only in dolby 5.1 sound format accepted by the tritton helmet.

This card is compact, direct supply from the USB port is very convenient, ideal to transform into a portable jukebox when connected to an amplifier.

The interface for playing on the card parameters: choice of type of speaker system 2.0 2.1 5.1 ... is classic equalizer .... but more visual than going change settings directly in the Card driver manager.

This card has met my expectations and even if it was not for the priority, the sound output is excellent.
Which of course makes it even better.
