IX-Red Senso - disappointing Fehlkauf

I bought the IXON IQ of B & M. Enthusiastic about the product performance, I wanted to buy a suitable taillight the IX-Red Senso to. Made - done. The lamp makes a very cheap impression. After unpacking, I initially thought that it would be broken - something rattled in unmistakable inner workings. The build quality is simply Poor. The plastic looks cheap and not very flexible. The lighting is poor and the lamp is not very bright. The capacity indicator (LED) is quite confusing housed inside the lamp. When IXON IQ he is admitted into the case - that I would have liked even in the IX-Red Senso. Inserting the batteries is difficult, because the housing is very tight and the contacts have little Federspiel. On the way I want the batteries / rechargeable batteries not have to change ... The grid strip from the holder must be cut to match the installation is simple, the plugging and unplugging the light works fine.

In operation immediately notice the unpleasant rattling of the leaflet on the lamp. That seems to be the motion sensor. Instead of a proper sensor to obstruct found here the Billigheimer version. Too bad.

Compared to my SIGMA Cuberider II I am disappointed across the board. The Cuberider II is brighter (has it even more LEDs will light with 2 AAA batteries longer than the IX-RED with less LEDs and two AA batteries), the indicator easier to read while driving and the housing acts valent and especially neatly against splash protected (Gummitastschalter) - in the IX-RED, it looks as if this could penetrate the side via the switch water. Only the bracket is probably more durable than the SIGMA in the IX-RED (here a rubber is used)

My conclusion. Bad buy. From B & M I would have expected more here. And the Senso-function I need in practice not really - a nice Gimik, nothing more. A star there for support and easy on / unplug the lamp. For more is not enough in my opinion - especially not in comparison to the significantly less expensive Cuberider II.
