At the age of 13 years James Morrison began playing guitar, his uncle showed him how to play a blues riff and influenced by musicians such as Otis Redding, Al Green, Cat Stevens, The Kinks and Van Morrison, he began as a street musician. Discovered by a local guitarist in a pub in the English Derby fate took its course. 2006 James won worldwide success with his debut single "You Give Me Something". 2007 James Morrison was nominated for three Brit Awards. He won the category Best British Male Solo Artist - and why he won, he presents his second album again impressively demonstrated. Bombastic starts the opener "The Only Night", very emotional coming "Save yourself" therefore before with "You Make It Real", the first single release follows. "Broken Strings" is a duet with Nelly Furtado, which already now running up and down at my home station - a wonderful pop song with a lot of soul. Later in the album grooves, bluest, Soult and croont James Morrison fervently, so that the ladies hearts just melt so. He is nowhere near as whiny and soft as similar artists with the same name. An absolute music highlight in 2008 !!!
