At the age of 13 years James Morrison began playing guitar, his uncle showed him how to play a blues riff and influenced by musicians such as Otis Redding, Al Green, Cat Stevens, The Kinks and Van Morrison, he began as a street musician. Discovered by a local guitarist in a pub in the English Derby fate took its course. 2006 James won worldwide success with his debut single "You Give Me Something". 2007 James Morrison was nominated for three Brit Awards.
