I do not want to write long on plot or other details, the others have done.
Shortly to my point of view: I'm someone who definitely likes movies, the plot of, acting skills and writing are indeed terrible, but this still very, very entertaining! And just as a film Wolves in my opinion.
Here the negative points (Those who appreciate this and it will be something unbearable to watch, better stay away from the movie):
- New and original perspective on werewolves, in particular the conflict beast / man
- Partially the acting skills of the actors, who in detail, that will come later
- Chilling, creepy portrayal of werewolves (my scale of horror is there maybe a little high)
- Surprising story, no this is not really the case
- Multidimensional characters, really? Something you expect here ...
And now to the things that make this movie great:
- Jason Mamoa (oh yes, he was so not the reason why I have become aware of the Fim ...)
- Good cinematography, beautiful Dark, great angles, all in all not bad
- Great soundtrack
- Mask and Costume Design are great that Werewolves are for me though rather cute as furchteinfllößend, but I'm not scale
- The supporting characters, like the uncle and Connor are great!
- Nice action scenes, reminiscent in a few moves to Wreasting
All in all, feels the film is not boring or too slowly. You might have let out the conversations between the teenage couples. For when you realize just who wooden performance of the actors and unfortunately the German Syncro does not do that better ...
Belohn but it will be back with the struggles of werewolves who make incredibly fun! Ok I enjoy it, because the masks look easy to shoot and when they still fight, that's really funny. The masks are indeed high quality finish, but just not really creepy ...
Alas if the teenager could not convince me, but Jason and Stephen McHattie fun had definitely to their roles. If not even John Pyper-Furgeson the two surpasses.
