This is a comprehensive book for teaching English in class (Cycle 2). I also use it with my GS and we are only in oral. The book recommends writing for CE1 but I'm skeptical ...
The CD contains the songs used and cited in the book.
However a downside: the images could be on the CD and be in color.
Some sequences are too long, however, as any book, it is to adapt the level of its class.
At the rendering in the classroom: you still have the teacher speaks. Students hang well thanks to the songs. The idea for the mascot as a vector is a wise choice.
I really recommend this book to teach general English, much cheaper than English method.
