A star deduction is available for setting up and documentation.

The software is not necessarily required, since everything can be set up via Weboberfäche.

Note: The supplied software I could on the computer of my father with Windows (Win 7 32-bit) does not install a newer version available on the manufacturer's site, which, although AFAIK for Vista, but can also be installed under Windows 7.

Important is the sequence: first printer to the print server, turn on the printer, turn on the print server, then configure.

Once set up, a not officially supported Brother multifunction device (scan, print, copy) running with the print function properly on the print server. Any other course will not, however, were not required.
