Since only one cable leads from the satellite distribution system in my living room, electric distributors wanted lay new cables in the house, so that I can in one place my BlueRay recorder with twin receiver and connect to a television. Thanks to a tip in a Forum (Network World) I became aware of this device with Unicable technology and have installed it. Works flawlessly (four transmitters can place them on a cable - even HD channels!). However, one needs the living room again a splitter which splits the 4 signals, if you want to connect multiple devices (this costs of Kathrein but only about 15 euros). A separate power supply is not needed this device when it is reconnected via the outputs (horizontal / vertical) with a line-powered device (eg. Multi-switch or further Unicable switch. A sole use of this device between 4 Kablen from SAT / LNB and the device does not work due to lack of source of energy but!
