Kawaii and full of information!

At 1 First, this book is very "girly" and childlike with all the colors and designs but looking more closely, we actually see a very well done book! Presented in a large format, there is a double page for each topic covered in the form of sheet and decorated with drawings and photos. Various topics are covered: the habits of Japanese (at home, at school, at lunch and tea, wedding dress styles ...), leisure (dolls, animation, manga, cosplay, music , entertainment and festivities ...) ...

The plus of this book lies in the original workshops and well presented! Several workshops in the form of sheets to discover: make sushi, learn how to draw manga, make origami, calligraphy and a final on styling.

I find this book really well done and enjoyable to read! But beware, it must be taken for what it is: If you get a book to learn more about Japanese culture you will definitely be disappointed because the topics covered in this book are not much dug! By cons, it is a pleasant first approach of Japanese culture!
