WHAT IS THE GAME?
Hardly anyone expected anything from the homonymous TV series belongs in recent years or have read, which is based on the eponymous comic book by Robert Kirkman. As the name suggests, The Walking Dead, it comes to going around death or dead going around (it can be seen as you want and both hit the mark). So we are in a world in which Walker / biter (= Zombies) walking around and hardly there are people (ie not living;)). In the same universe plays the adventure adaptation of Telltale. These can be a slip into the role of the convicted criminal Lee Everett, who is on his way to jail, as the zombie apocalypse breaks out. On his flight from the walkers, he meets different people, which will later represent his group. The most important and first member of the group is the little Clementine, whose parents were at home with their babysitter and now are probably more dead than alive. With Lee Everett is now embarks on a journey through a world in which not only represent the dead but also the living a hazard and it is the bottom line just about pure survival.
What the game is and what is the game does not?
The Walking Dead is an episodic adventure. This is because its Telltale Games ever in episodes to download releases (ie you never once gets the whole game, but one of five episodes just like a real series).
Telltale promises in his game that each of the decisions which one meets as Lee Everett, will also take an effect on the game. Here, however, opens up a problem, because Telltale says not in how far the events really changed. In fact, it's like this that the story is designed very straightforward and is not changed by the decisions taken. Is affected only the relationship of the individual protagonists among themselves (who will trust you, who will help you and who is more or less like you). The game is therefore no other Heavy Rain.
The Walking Dead (TWD) is NOT a shooter or action thunderstorms. Telltale makes Adventures (ie games in which tasks need to be resolved to move forward in the game). In tWD is more about watching how the story develops, which is among themselves the relationships of the protagonists and how you can live with its (fictional) decisions.
WHAT I hold of this game?
If one were to force me my opinion of bringing only one word to express, then the word would be phenomenal. Telltale has so involved me emotionally in the story that when one or other decision or in events, I sat in front of my PC and had the feeling that someone was squeezing with full force my chest to me. I laughed, I have suffered and yes, I have been crying. I was emotionally exhausted at the end / finished / complete. I play for years and many PC games which are attendants become (eg. Monkey Iceland), but I've never played a game that made it myself so mitzureisen and emotionally affecting as telltales The Walking Dead. I am extremely happy to the second season of tWD. It is very difficult to explain why this game is so great, without spoiling something of the contents, but we say it so Telltale fixes to the player who will make things happen that shock him and touch him and that this line is to End applied consistently.
CONCLUSION:
If there is a game that should have played once in his life, then there is The Walking Dead from Telltale. I highly recommend it. Who is a good friend of Stroytelling, and elaborated characters and not continually kill things and want to blow that will surely like to find tWD.
