I bought in mid-2010 a new camera and soon realized that a battery is not enough. So I bought about a month later (around June 2010), a replacement battery. Since I started using both original Canon batteries alternately and am still very happy with it. The charging time is approximately 2-3 stalls (I never really measured). I charge the battery always only when it is empty, so the camera "Battery empty - please change" displays. Both batteries are therefore now almost 4 years old. Experience has shown that keeping a fully charged battery on vacation with my Canon PowerShot G11 about 2 days. On holidays, I do a lot of photos and I belong to the tourists who take pictures from time to time, ie camera, camera, camera ... I also like to play with the zoom. I photograph ALWAYS display. Here, the battery lasts about 2 days then (which are rather more). Otherwise (at home), the camera every now and again used (short hike, visit, birthday, funny snapshot, etc.). Here, the battery lasts for weeks (currently almost 4 weeks ago - fully charging indicator), without having to be changed to.
I would grab again to the original, as I have already had bad experiences with unnamed clone cards. And this battery lasts really long.
