I read this book from kindergarten, middle section, to pupils of CE1. All loved it. They listen very carefully, and when comes the last page means every time "yet".
Then they are delighted to know the text by heart and to anticipate what will happen.
Finally, the fact of bringing the monster when the request (see last page) is "magic" for them.
Very good read, I recommend buying, I have for my own children.
