The characters are as thin as paper, the plot as predictable as the order of the days of the week and the writing style was beaten every young author from his lecturer around the ears. As in his previous works is also back scheme Knaak: All "evil" are selfish and all "good" are next-loving and tolerant. The "evil" will of course be punished for their permament egoism. The "Good" can maneuver in even the impasses on the other hand, always popping out of nowhere to friends / acquaintances that they repay their charity and rectify the situation shortly. Hach, what it would be nice if it would be in reality so! Still very much credible can you really an act no longer constantly rotate so that the heroes survive and bite the egoist into the grass.
And then of course there's Knaak's favorite topic - DRAGON !!! Without that good can not apparently yes. All 2 pages is then also felt a design which reads as follows: "He was a very capable warrior / mage / priest / Druid / baker / kindergarten etc. - but a dragon, he was of course only a complete beginner!" - "A human / elf / Orc / Goblin / demon / Tauren / dwarf etc. it would not be noticed, but he was of course a dragon, which is why he saw the short times and quickly regulated!"
Character developments are erratic, untrustworthy and with the sledgehammer approach instead: A ALL is taken after which he unceremoniously overflows to the enemy and the whole world wants to destroy - yawn !!! - Seen / read 1000x / heard.
To use as an accompanying booklet for videogame and Background still denied this as a story full line. Two stars there also only that it's even worse (see the sequels Band 2 + 3 ...).
