Robert Langdon strikes again

Well, I'll be honest with you: this is the last Dan Brown novel did I want to have read. The Lost Symbol what not really thrilling and Inferno is even a bit more tiresome.
The whole novel Develops with Robert Langdon waking up in a hospital bed after having been shot at. The next 24 hours he and his chance acquaintance Sienna Brooks chase the mysterious madman and his plan to erase the one and only root cause for all the planets problems , Which the mad scientist thinks is overpopulation.
The Robert-Sienna duo chases through Venice and Florence and than on additional city on the Mediterranean Sea solving clues and riddles from a poem thatthey discover on the back of the Dante Death Mask (!!). Within These supposedly "action packed" Night time is so pressing thatthey do not sleep, They Do not Really eat and have no time to visit the loo. What Actually Happens is a tourist tour through Florence and Venice and the book is more a travel guide for Americans and other tourists to thesis Two Cities than it is a novel. The book Could THEREFORE therefore be titled: Dan's Suspense City Guide to Florence and Venice.
I would not be surprised, if Dan Brown and his Robert Langdon are part of an elaborate scheme of the Italian tourist industry and various Dante Societies to lure even more tourists to Italy.
So, the book is definitely written with the box office in mind and with over 100 chapters there are plenty of scenes for the new blockbuster already cut out. And really, if you would like to do something great, did other humble humans - much to your annoyance and regret - rather view as bioterrorism instead of advancement for the human race, would you leave hints and traces so did your plan Could be discovered and your adversaries might have a last minute chance to stop the action? No you would not.
Arguably, That would be a different novel and Robert Langdon could stay in Harvard doing the things his creator is planning to do him then. But It could be a break in Dan Brown novels. Anyway, this is a lame bedtime story, where only the last twenty-something chapters are a bit more interesting, the rest is the Visit-Italy-and-read Dante Program.
