've Seen the Ulkfilm on television. I find great if thrillers, but the show "oh so serious and evil deeds", are completely pulled through the mud. Such officers as Kottan, Schrems and Schrammel are what I want in real life. (Of course, the criminals would then equally dopey come along ...). The final scene has particularly touched me - especially this rearranged "Three Steps to Heaven", which is even given of "Kottans chapel" a little "Overture". I love polyphonic, melodic vocals, the practically impossible there in the pieces of today "modern chapels" (bands). But I like most of the transition from the prologue to the main part: It seems that the song should end here. But instead, he really begins: Other Performers (the real ones probably) take the part, the rhythm is faster and the pitch is raised by a semitone.. This interplay calls (always) in my euphoric feeling out: "In the end follows a new beginning" and makes me happy. Although me the final bit too rock appear, I like the interpretation of "Kottans Chapel" musically significantly better than the original by Eddie Cochran. But that certainly has a lot to do with the fact that this is a new, clean remixed recording - without the weaknesses of the old recording technology middle of last century. I know that there are so many do not understand, but a technically clean recording with today's technology, I prefer the "old original ham" - as far as the musicians and singers know their "craft". In (TV) movies I feel the same way. I'm not a "Kultfan" and therefore renounce all older productions that are not in true HD (720p, 1080i or better p) were filmed. "Kottan determined - rien ne va plus" was in HD. That is why my eyes had their enjoyment. The two adjoining old original parts "Kottan determined" to 16mm and in 4: 3 shot, I then me - lack of image quality - no longer considered.
Too bad, I believe that "Rien ne va plus" to have been Kottans farewell performance ...
