at the three Nikon DSLR in our household. D90, D3100 and D610 can be triggered with it, and the "terminal-determination" also allows "B" without having to hold the shutter button pressed constantly. One senses to trigger any real pressure point with "click", but the resistance increases when the camera focuses and it works quite intuitively. Even my daughter has no problem there and worked emotionally right the first time.
Of course you can with this trigger not meterweit stay away from the camera - the cable length is the front - and he's a little bulkier than these modern IR trigger (whose volume equals almost two bank cards) but he also needs no battery and works iff you rausholt him out of the camera bag. Great price / performance ratio!
