The big BUT:
Now I ordered the 10er Pack and gratifying found that they have a super light color. Unfortunately, not enough these 10 pieces from my apartment and I have at the company sebson again 5 reordered among other LED bulbs. Unfortunately, this had for the eyes clearly visible colder light color, which clearly lacks a part of the spectrum. The illuminated area was indeed bright, but looks towards the other rooms very uncomfortable by it.
I complained this at sebson and got the following response:
Since 1 September 2013, the EU stepped Regulation 1194/2012 / EC and 874/2012 / EC in force. Through the provisions of the new EU quality standards and specification requirements are regulated for LED lamps and their packaging.
We therefore already since August 2013 successively our LED lamps and wraps around. Among other things, the GU10 Frosted 15th
For consumers, this means among other things that the color rendering of the lamps from an average of 75 to Ra Ra now has 80 improved. The artificial LED light are thus objects better again than previously. Thus, this change to the consumer comes to Good.
To achieve the color rendering of over 80 Ra, we had some products up slightly to 3000K color temperature. With the naked eye, the color temperature difference hardly or not perceptible.
This means that the light intensity decreases from 420lm to 380lm.
The reduction, however, is barely perceptible.
According to Regulation 874/2012 also we give our values to something more conservative, as the service life or the number of switching cycles. Rest assured that the lamps are still built the same and also can match the quality as before. The newly specified values only represent minimum values.
We have homemade cycles tests on all our products while we arrived at the tested LED bulbs on a number of more than 500,000 cycles passed without a single failure.
We change the new data after conversion to the new LED bulbs immediately on our product pages. However, it can come in individual cases to overlap a few days. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Since I was pretty tired, after a call for sebson I learned that the old "warmer" variant 'no longer authorized to be sold ?! precisely because of this new EU Regulation. On request whether because the warmer light color is still present, it said it could no longer sell it, otherwise one must reckon with horrendous penalties and the business would be "made tight" in disregard of this Regulation. The old variant would be destroyed ...
Hard to believe all consumers looking for possible warm light (the light of incandescent or halogen lamps equaling) for your living room, the industry tries to meet this demand and developed in the direction. And the EU prohibits the ??? with an EU Regulation At least I understand the statement of sebson.
Finally, there is in the product I sebson model GU 10 Frosted no longer in the form, as I ordered it. Beautiful light color Ade ... The new is clearly uncomfortable. If it stays that way stay away, so that hardly anyone is happy. In business premises, maybe, but not in the home.
Therefore actually 5 star for the product of my product purchased, but only 2, because there is no longer this!
