I thought I could watch movies on my TV SONY Bravia since my HP laptop, using the Display Port cable (PC side) and HDMI (TV side), but unfortunately there are only passing the Video >> no sound, despite verification of possible settings to change the 2 facilities. So I think that this type of cord is only for the VIDEO (equivalent to VGA cable).
