Large machine - great design

This machine should replace in the years have come, defective double machines (2x10 cups).
In addition to the beautiful design and the extension of this series in my budget (I have the toaster), it offers the large amount of coffee that you can cook with a batch. Thus, I have found a really good compromise with the conversion of the two-way breaker on this machine. Its capacity is an impressive 14 cups or 1.8 liters. The glass jug is running but only at about 2 liters over :-)
So you can have a big coffee-round entertaining. The jug can be handled well and the drip lock is functioning properly.
The possible time delay and power off the heat plate is for my habits not required but available.
The digital I did not need. They lit at night the kitchen brighter than any emergency along with the digital clock, the microwave display, the kitchen radio display and the lamp of the refrigerator. If you want to save energy, you would have to pull the plug on all devices and then reprogram. Who wants that. Sure, the built-in shut-off after 2 hours (acc. Manufacturer) must indeed have as a source of a clock. However, the advantages of this machine weigh heavier for me, so I've taken this disadvantage into account.
On the right button the machine can be optionally switched on or off and the coffee flows quickly through (thanks to the 1000W power) and not too loud. The lid Solte completely closed (locking) to build to pressure on the PVC filter insert, which opens the dropper. When releasing the lid lock both hands are required in order both to resolve the lid and hold with the other hand the (too light) machine. But that's no problem. Built showerhead technology wets the powder in the filter optimally and the coffee tastes good. For a complete filling of the filter size you need 4. For smaller quantities sufficient Gr. 2. ordered a replacement jug directly from the manufacturer, [...], will be delivered within a week.
Potential investors should note that height. Closed: 38cm Open: 58cm !!
The filling with water, I always kill by PVC-liter measure. Thus, there are no problems to use the relatively small opening at the rear of the machine. If you want to use the glass jug to you need upwards a little more space, good lighting and a steady hand - or the mop. The level can be easily read on the right side.
The drip closure is realized by a spring mechanism with a rubber seal. If the filter bag and use the can not be properly rinsed promptly after use, there is a danger of sticking at the transition dropper-pot (exact fit). If the filter bag use now removed from the machine, it may happen that the tiny rubber gasket adheres to the filter paper and is disposed of.
Then there is a real problem because the dropper does not work anymore and you can look at the items. This is unfortunately already happened to me. Fortunately I was able to seal time "save" from the fresh compost bags.
Okay, when you know it happens only once.
My conclusion after 14 days of use: clear buy recommendation!
