From the described in some other reviews problem that the lock screen of the suction nozzle by itself jumps back I've seen nothing, perhaps a matter of variation within a series.
The operations for unlocking the longitudinal adjustment of the suction tube and to change the suction nozzles I find something suboptimal and more little confidence-inspiring (act not very stable and designed for long life), that was "valent" solved with my old vacuum cleaner.
But that is my subjective impression, the course can also be deceiving.

The Siemens VSQ5X1230 is also significantly quieter than my old vacuum cleaner, but of course still easily perceptible (which is probably in the nature of things). The volume, however, was rather unimportant for my purchase decision.
Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy the device again.
