The band's name is not program. Quite the contrary. No Joy come from Montreal and have published with "Wait To Pleasure" their second album. Guitars and guitar again, wonderful melodies drown in noise, there is heard. Sometimes the spherical distorted vocals reminded of dream pop ala Cocteau Twins. Quite clearly, this is Shoegaze commemorating Ride, Lush (early), The Jesus And The Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine course.

This album will also appear shortly after "The Gods Of Shoegaze" My Bloody Valentine publish a barely awaited new album after more than two decades. Evil men would now reflexively shout Retro and epigones, but when you open and calmly listen to this album you realize that it has very wonderful songs where accessibility and experiment are exactly right in the balance. Added to this is that the band at the end so it somehow different, somehow eigenener sounds as above geannte references.
