I first fell on the felt heavy weight. My old wand weighs 604 grams and the Russell Hobbs (with attached liquidiser attachment) actually only 200 grams more (about 800 grams) - still makes a lot of. In addition a device length of about 40 cm, which undercuts my old equipment by more than 10 cm. In terms of portability for me therefore a backward step, although I am aware that the 700 watt somewhere must be "housed" because my old wand has only 100 watts.
My old plastic housing has to have grooves in which settled over the years deposits in the liquidiser attachment, where the knives are. This can not happen here, because the stainless steel is absolutely smooth and very well washable = absolute plus!
The cable length of 1.20 m is okay, but sometimes you could use a little more leeway.
The 700 Watt make "at work" absolutely noticeable! No sooner have you chosen to submerge into the feed stage 3-4, the rod with straight hold on the ground zutzelt formally, so my tip: keep Slightly oblique, but still make sure that the liquidiser attachment completely disappears under the surface, otherwise you have to renovate the entire kitchen may. ;-)
The power is amazing and soups and sauces are durchpüriert within seconds!
The 4-stage power is very useful and can be individually adjusted to the prepared dishes. At level 1, the top ring lights blue stage 2 purple, green and Level 3 Level 4 (how could it be otherwise) red. The lighting is a fun gimmick and looks nice. Switching the rotary wheel is a bit difficult under certain circumstances, if the finger while cooking oily perhaps has - a key solution would have liked a little better.
Ice should not edit because the shearing blades can become dull by the manufacturer. According to the manufacturer a laudable long operating time of 2 minutes for the blender bar and 5 minutes for the whisk is provided. The shredder may work for 30 seconds before you have to allow it to cool for 2 minutes. I had not yet exceeded these requirements, as everything was done within this time.
The whipping cream with a whisk no problem and the stiff egg whites going quite well. Still, I prefer doing my existing hand mixer with dual mixing cover, since it thus manages a little more quickly and thereby fixed. Who does not have a hand mixer, which is the Russell Hobbs recommended without another unit having to purchase, since the differences are really marginal.
A stamper is still there, but which one should use only in very short pulse intervals and only through and through Soft-Boiled. Mashed potatoes is me so quite well and smoothly managed. But as I quite like like the puree still with a few pieces of it, the rammer will probably be rarely used with me.
Conclusion: Absolute Träumchen for original equipment in the household! Space-saving and power under the hood - but this at the highest level relatively quiet!
