This short piece of Feydeau has the merit to be easily read and be funny. The domestic scene between Follavoine and his wife is a fine example of vaudeville. Feydeau mocks those selfish and stupid bourgeois who think themselves so clever. The arrival of the 7 year old son, Toto, stimulus intrigue and humor because her lines are really comical. And then it changes the adultery stories so common in this author. This piece allows us to appreciate the theater of the early century eventually unknown to the public ... A good time!
