Lavender has been used by the Romans for a soothing bath. Hence the name lavender comes (from the Latin lavare = wash) and are now valued for its calming effect.
Typical applications:
- A few drops dissolved with a little honey in hot water can be drunk as a tea
- With another oil (almond oil or olive oil) you can apply it to the skin, it stimulates the circulation to act (be careful, do not use pure but in the ratio 1: 9, it irritates the skin otherwise too much)
- Air-freshener (1 drop is sufficient on a cloth in our Gästeklo to impart a noticeable but not obtrusive smell the room)
- As a bath additive (1-2 drops give the bath water)
- As a laundry fragrance (1-2 drops instead of fabric softener into the softener chamber give)
Personally lavender is too intense as a tea. However, this is a matter of taste. In cosmetics wiederrum I like it quite like. Who prepared cosmetic itself, simply can to mix one drop. Again, I recommend being very careful to dose, since pure lavender oil smells very intense.
A miracle cure is lavender for people with sleep problems. A few drops (2-3 range) placed on a cloth and placed next to the bed, calming and sleep inducing.
The vials can be safely re-close and the oil can be metered well dropwise.
MY CONCLUSION:
Very nice oil in top quality!
