Left to be desired for the money

Have GoGear Vibe bought as player for my aunt, who did not get along with a small and fiddly to iPod nano.
After unpacking three disappointments:
- The USB cable is too short viiiiel: just 12 cm! I'm this constant cent Gespare in production now quite on the nerves, at the expense of ease of use.
- A printed manual in GERMAN, of course not there (yes, I know: PDF Download, print, cut, glue, staple, HAHA, who does that). How do I now make my aunt realized the operation?
- The biggest disappointment, however, that does not exist a support Apple Mac OS X. It is constantly being described only Windows and Songbird. It would be so easy with iTunes. After all, the Vibe is recognized as a USB flash memory device, so could and I had to copy the desired MP3 songs using drag and drop on the vibe.

To operate:
1. I also note a much too low maximum volume. Somewhere I had read, that was the derated due to EU regulations and this restriction can be set by entering a non-EU country out of service, but find only language setting in the SETUP menu. It's please each own responsibility for his listening habits and their health.
2. The display and the displays are relatively pleasant, but the resolution (and thus the sharpness) of the screen - well - technical level of 5 years ago. I'm sure a decent screen resolution would have made the device not much more expensive.
3. Even something positive: After copying the MP3 files (over 500) were created automatically indexes all the MUSIC directory, so play by album / artist / genre, etc. was possible immediately.
