The main reason for my purchase decision was the low weight and small packed size as the second in a circulation of up to 1.5kg - including an SLR.
I use it with a small sports camcorder and an SLR with zoom lens and have had it on long months of trekking there. It met all my expectations.
The small enclosed bag can be stowed so that nothing gets caught in the drill, but that was so not a problem and I have used it rarely. The bag is also working so that they can be well attached to the outside of a backpack to the stand to have quickly at hand.
The stand is stable and the legs can be easily extend and lock well. The small rubber feet are stable on different substrates. I found the water level often useful.
When used with an SLR I have refrained from extending the center column, which seemed to me then too unstable.
Even after several months of use when traveling is all right. The material looks a bit cheap in some places, but this is obviously not a problem.
