# Optics
The look I like, although not exciting. It works, but everything to look thoughtful and nice. However, it is not a looker, such as the ASUS UX301LA. For me it was an "eye-catcher" not buying criterion, so full marks.

# Processing / haptics
The device feels, how it looks: dutifully high plastic content, but acts dibasic. Parts of the device, however, act not as stiff as offer other providers, which leaves a rather cheap impression. The Displayschanier was (for me) relatively stiff, so that almost any change in the display angle incl. The regular unfolding needed both hands. I go strongly believe that this is so wanted, for example to allow the service function in the "A balancing act", without that makes the device automatically. In practice, however minimally disruptive. The keyboard feels very nice, the display lighting is discreet and functional. Very annoying is attached to the side on / off button, which is extremely narrow and flat with no real pressure point comes. Due to the choice of materials in this price category 2 star deduction in this category

# Function / Technical service
The course Yoga 2 Pro stands out due to the display mechanism, which so far offers unexpected possibilities. I found it to operate the Gerätim Tablet mode on the couch to be extremely practical. The gain in comfort with recreational use is therefore extremely high compared to conventional notebooks. The system works wonderfully! Super!
The built wireless module is no longer befitting, (eg surfing) for basic functions is still OK This depends certainly also on what one is accustomed to speeds. Defects are here but clearly missing dual-band support and no Wifi AC Support (WLAN module can be replaced, 40).
The working speed I could not thoroughly test due to the problem described below. During my tests, however, the unit was extremely fast on the road. I was especially impressed the start time that was well under 10 seconds (not from the power saving mode, but the hybrid sleep). Overall, I am satisfied, the tablet function breaks the scoring but massively upwards. That alone for me it is already a perfect score, because only thus the auferzwungene touch screen functionality makes sense.

# Ergonomics / battery life
The unit is very quiet in operation, in office mode the fan is rarely ever and is then barely audible themselves. Stress tests I did not do. Installations and Windows updates were still the highest of the load. The device is almost entirely silent (speakers, however, very loud with good quality).
Battery life is not outstanding, but are 6-7h with einigern optimisations even with a pleasant display brightness in it.
# Display
3200x1800 pixels sound impressive, especially with 13.3 inch screen size. They are also in practice, but I had also (like many other users) find that this resolution for many people is totally impractical. Support for high-resolution displays under Windows is to say the least bad. At full resolution, I have the scale to anything between 200 and 250% adjusted in order to work with it. Who thinks, however, that it is done with this attitude, you're wrong. By scaling to many (even Windows internal) functions / windows displayed pixelated what looks more modest than that of a low dissolve things, display without scaling. This negates the advantage of the many pixels to some extent.
Remedied eg a resolution of 1920x1080 (FullHD) and a scaling of 140%. I personally feel as comfortable.
Much worse, however, is the much discussed problem of color reproduction. Of course I had informed me in advance of the machine and am also stumbled over the yellow-problem. Because it was said that were identified and fixed the problem by Lenovo, I ordered the device anyway. When I unpacked the device, I have checked and discovered the first direct massive variations in yellow color. Then wanted a BIOS update ride + the software update. I marveled not bad then when I saw that the updates were already runs on delivery. In other words, there were no other patches to correct the problem. I did my research on the problem then expanded and found that I am not the only one who is suffering after the update with this problem massively. It is also noticed that some people were partly deceived during the update. Before the update was yellow to dark massively represented in a brownish tone, which can also reproduce after the update still (put on maximum energy savings) with the Energy-management tool from Lenovo.
After the update occurs, in fact, this problem is no longer on, but that does not automatically that yellow is displayed correctly. Pure yellow, so in RGB Language 255, 255, 0 corresponds to a calibrated monitor for apparent reconstruction of color on the Yoga into something an RGB value of 240, 255, 0, so a greenish yellow. According to professional-looking test results with a spectrometer were posted in a Lenovo forum, demonstrating the problem objectively. In practice, I find this misrepresentation as extremely problematic, of course, because I bought the Yoga for image processing, but it also falls negative in regular operation on if only the "yellow" -Mark texts. And I'm not Farbtreueenthusiast or similar. Here certainly plays purely also the knowledge that the display is not "normal". If you invest in a 1300 device, if one is not so simply having trouble, in my opinion. For me that was the knockout despite my otherwise thoroughly positive impression of the device. Knockout at this point because I have literally tried everything but to get these problems under control yet. Among them include, manual calibration tests, machine-aided / optical calibration, different graphics drivers, configurations of power management tools, tips, tricks and color profiles from the community and, ultimately, the "support" of Lenovo.

# Support / Lenovo
In Lenovo forum in which to express themselves and employees about the issues that matter is hushed up and discussions are suppressed with the reference to "remedy" by the BIOS update. On the web there are enough entries that described that the yellow-issue is resolved. If you read closely, but refer the to the problem that will appear as yellow yellow-brown. Only rarely is the talk of green.
I turned to various tests to Lenovo. There you could understand my problem (greenish tint to update) and supposedly there was a mop with further instructions that precisely address this case. Because the wiper is in English and the staff not good English can his own words, I should please describe the problem via email and you would send me within 24 hours (quite rare and absolute maximum 36h). The whole course over the paid Support Hotline. Nungut ... now a week has no answer rum, which the device then also unfortunately declining.

CONCLUSION
Too bad. Really very bad! I would have kept the unit extremely happy. Suppose the Yellow problems did not exist, it would have been the ultimate Ultrabook for me and at a comparatively real fair price. My guess is that people who use the Yoga as the only PC / Notebook not the problem perceived as a direct comparison is missing, so I can not rule out the conclusion categorically a recommendation. Who but a minimum level of color accuracy expected is hereby estimated not happy. In sum, I subtract 1.5 stars for the display and 0.5 star for the support and lack of problem solving readiness.
