As a major advantage of the YN-622C-TX the extended adjustment, and the display is described in most cases. This would also be really nice if it would also display because changes that are made in the camera menu. Unfortunately, this, at least for my model, not the case, what ever is a knock-out criterion.
Possibly this could be remedied by a firmware update of the Yongnuo. Unfortunately, this requires a Windows system. As a Mac user so a bit annoying.
Furthermore offers the YN-622C-TX towards the camera menu the option for each channel to adjust individually whether speed cameras with TTL or manual. This may be for one or other of interest. I do not really need, but also does not hurt.
Likewise, the Yongnuo offers a choice of 7 different radio channels all over. Also nice, but even interesting if I have other stations within radio range, which would interfere with my signal. I do not, however, never happened.
Beautiful it would have been to be able to instead define more groups. This could start a lot more, because if one has to control so many different devices in different ways.
Another small flaw is my view that anything short time illumination of the display. Here I would clearly prefer a "either on or off" instead of a timer.
What I, however, sorely lacking is a hot shoe, such as that offered by the YN-622C (without TX). This is another knock-out criterion for me.
Perhaps more fundamentally, the device is quite recommendable. The quality and feel is good, the function corresponds to the description and, unlike so many original accessories do I need above all no special batteries. Therefore, all in all three stars.
Who needs the additional functions and the display and can live with the limitations mentioned, which is sure to have his fun with it. Who, however, like me, has no use for it is (without TX) in my view clearly better off with the cheaper YN-622C and more flexible to use.
