I was looking for a display for my collection of antique eyeglass frames that does not act too bold on the wall and a slaying. By chance I came across this one, which is explicitly stated for the model, which is actually utter nonsense, because the display is not too heavy Collectibles suitable for all. She also runs at Amazon probably under "toys", which is just as misleading, because this makes the evaluation difficult. How many points will be awarded here for the fun and the educational value of an absolutely great showcase? Apart from this showcase is totally unsuitable for a child's room in my opinion. For this purpose it is far too delicate and fragile. But now the product itself: The cabinet was in a very narrow package packaged very well with me. The assembly instructions are printed directly on the box, so you can get started right away. The structure is very simple due to the easy assembly system and requires only a very short time. Yet I had during the construction of sweat on his forehead for fear that very thin and brittle Plexiglas elements could get caught and so go already build broken, but the construction went smoothly and without damage. As my Vorrezensenten already mentioned, gets the showcase when it is fully established, a very good stability. What I like very well, is the "lightness" of this piece. The cabinet consists of only 3 mm thin Plexiglas elements. Hanging on the wall that is a breath of nothingness. The transparent back wall is almost invisible, as is the flooring. No part of the visually suppressed, a seemingly kills on the wall or even distract from the set exhibits. The collectibles seem to float on the wall. Therefore, I find this display case also very suitable for smaller rooms. These showcase is very neutral and fits in almost any room, because they do not visually bites with other furniture or pictures. Only downside is just like all plastic parts, the material is very electrostatic and therefore attracts the dust. This can be seen already in the construction. Polystyrene crumbs and Kartonteilchen were grown, as by a solenoid. It will be even more difficult to dust off that thing, because the charged plastic pulls off even the dust from the duster. The dust problem is compounded further by the lack of a front cover. But it does take inkauf with such a delicate object to halt. It would also have been great if appropriate anchors and screws or hooks would have been directly provided for wall mounting. The search would have spared me for matching mounting hardware. Overall a very nice part for not too heavy exhibits, which draws attention to the collector's items and not to the furniture. I would buy this showcase at once!
