I just got the lens from Amazon and equal extensively "tested". And I can tell: - This lens is elegantly designed and is doing very well at the Panasonic LUMIX G3. It makes a solid and sophisticated look. - It's smaller than the Panasonic 14-42mm kit lens and the camera lens so it fits better in the pocket or purse. - With a focal length of 19mm, which corresponds to 38 mm small picture, you can deal with most shooting situations, it is therefore also suitable as always top lens - or as a light, short travel lens. - The bright aperture of 2.8 provides better picture quality than the kit lens. One can use lower (better, lower-noise) ISO values work. - And last but not least: The price of this high quality lens, Made in Japan, is hard to beat. Therefore: Full buy recommendation! H. Merkel
