Addendum after 3 months of use:
Since the Apple TV 3rd generation does not transmit CEC control protocol, the connected TV can not be turned off when the Apple TV goes to standby.
When Apple TV 3rd generation art can adjust after what period of inactivity, the Apple TV goes into standby, the smallest period is 10 minutes.
