Processing:
The converter is housed in a metal case, which thus has not only a high-quality look and feels high quality. The connections for HDMI cables to connect all straight and far enough apart to also HDMI cables from different manufacturers without space problems. The remote control that is included is also high quality and has buttons like on a traditional television remote control.
The status of the matrix is displayed in the operation by 9 green LEDs. These indicate whether the matrix to and what input is connected to which output. Unfortunately, the LEDs are different light with me and hide in some cases considerably.
Service:
The operation is very easy. The remote has 12 buttons which are divided into two groups, A and output B. Output You can assign an input directly or select the output with the arrow acts each output.
Function:
The function of HDMI matrix should be clear to everyone. Exist at this model is that only the tone of the output A two RCA connectors is placed. My setup is as follows:
PS3 (60GB) 1m
WiiU (32Gb) 1m
Xbox 360 Slim (250Gb) 1.5m
PC (GTX 770) 5m
Acer projector 10m
Acer Screen 5m
The length specifications for the devices, the cable lengths of up to HDMI Matrix.
The longest path is thus the PC to projector with 15 meters. Even over this distance no aberration, distortion or lags are noticeable. All cables used are from different manufacturers. Even splitting of a device (eg PC to projector and screen) without any problems.
At the RCA output an LG system is connected with me.
Problems:
I have not had problems until now. Once it happened (PS3 to projector and screen) that the image flickered and disappeared after 10 minutes, 2 seconds later it came but disappeared 10 minutes later again. After application of the principle AEG (Off-On-Go) no longer appeared on the error. I push the time on my PS3 but already old.
Conclusion:
The Matrix has thrilled me completely. The first device of this kind with me, so that immediately works as it should. The LEDs are a bit garish and all different light. If one is very critical, you can complain that under the matrix no rubber feet are attached and he therefore very slipping on smooth surfaces. If these are the only negatives, I'll take this gladly accept. I can because I do not have a 3D-capable output devices this functionality not testing.
