I bought the jacket for an off-road tropical getaway. Therefore for me were the decisive points were: - Light and airy that you do not sweat too much - Not too heavy, to get them in the baggage - Protective and nevertheless stable - Not too expensive, since only once for a holiday These four points were fully complied with. The work is so solid that the jacket should survive a fall and thus fulfills its purpose. However, I have not specifically tried this for obvious reasons. Nevertheless, the jacket could be partially processed slightly better. For me, where I needed only one week, it was sufficient. However, anyone who goes off on a regular basis, where appropriate, should resort to a slightly more expensive and thus also better processed product.
