Specifically: hunt "good" alphas "evil" Alphas.
Both are people with special abilities (elsewhere referred to as mutants), whether responsiveness, Sensory Perception, sheer muscle power, thought-Manipiulation or (new!) The perception and understanding of electromagnetic signals, even in digital form. The "evil" because have a lot more on it; o)
When I write it that way, it sounds more exciting than it actually is in the series. Annoying is confusing because the only Normalo, the initiator Dr. Rosen, who always slows down the action or reverses while unsettled again, mysterious and devious acts. Maybe it had to be so, because he is kidnapped in an episode through just a disguised Alpha and replaced, which then almost not noticeable, but just bothers in all other episodes.
Also interfere repeatedly mentioned Internierungsanstalt, their role and the fate of the spent there Alphas are never illuminated. Well, the second season is currently broadcast yes, maybe come since a little more light on the matter.
The idea is similar to Breakout Kings, just with a touch of X-Men.
