The DX800A is operated in conjunction with 2 handsets S79H, a Bluetooth headset Plantronics Voyager Pro + and the PC under Windows 7 64bit (incl. Outlook 2010 64-bit) and thus then begins the chaos.
Whereas previously a phone book transfer using the Gigaset Software from Outlook to Gigaset was possible that works not under a 64-bit operating system. The only solution is imperfect, with data to feed the Windows Contacts of Windows 7, then (ie with multiple Outlook Contact folders ultimately not a solution) works tolerably the transfer.
When SX353 and all other known to me ISDN telephones I can enter a ring delay for individual MSN, the DX800A is no longer! Meaningful benefit has been that example. Calls were indicated on the company's MSN only after a delay to the "private" handsets (or not, depending on your taste) and example. Flipped.
When DX800A here is no way pure; either there are all signals at the same time or individual MSN to individual handsets just do not ....
The programmable either as a speed dial or otherwise. Function keys touch keys are designed unlit and very small, operating errors (= wrong key) is the result.
As the flagship for the private or SoHo area, it is not enough, what part of the VG. brings overarching functions. If I had the previous, many years old parts not pass already in the family and not the new handsets procured (which harmonize limited to the SX353, although the Gigaset compatibility database dictates otherwise), I would give it back and grab again to the old SX353 ,
Who, great ringtones and ease of use puts emphasis on a large, backlit display, however, is with the DX800A (much) better off than with the predecessor models.
And while the new Plantronics Voyager Pro + as opposed to Vorläuger "without Plus" no longer wanted to work with the SX353 ("Connection Lost" ...) that works with the DX800A again very good.
