Light well, not included Bulb

The lamp looks quite stylish and also acts well finished. The power cable is long enough and has a small switch. With the light as such, we are so happy.
However, it was probably a reason that the seller indicates that it would provided no bulb. In our light while a 40W lamp (Noname) was included, but such an acrid stench of plastic developed after half an hour of operation, that we had to turn off. It could be that a contact at the base of the lamp was not soldered properly - that would be extremely dangerous then in the truest sense of the word.
But we did not want to continue to experiment and have equal an LED lamp used and disposed of the supplied light bulb. Since it no longer smells funny.
