I have this light alarm - my first - due to good reviews 2 bought here (from 2 overall), but returned promptly after a brief test, because the natural tones I felt absolutely inappropriate to be extremely annoying and for such a device. The audio loops are only about 4 to 5 seconds long, so you realize very clearly that it is a loop - and not just to nature sounds - is. There are clear sound sequences or patterns in the photographs, you burn immediately into the brain ... and already in the first repetition produce exactly the same effect as an alarm sound disgusting - you just want to turn the thing mega fast in order not bear again the same tone movement to have to. Maybe I'm particularly sensitive when it comes to audio loops, but the purpose of a light alarm is supposed to be the gentle awakening, and that includes my opinion also, that after the "Enlighten" the alarm is not like any other clock in the world by a eckligen alarm sound is annoyed. Nowadays, when memory chips are so cheap, would sound samples can come from at least 30 seconds in length and must be used. So you would not even notice if you start all over again ... or off after a few seconds with the feeling before actually bird Gezwitschere or to have whatever belongs.
Probably about twice as expensive competition in the form of the Philips HF3480 / 01 is of the alarm length not much better, but I will because of the many recommendations still order it and see.
Otherwise I fande the Xoro HMD 100 useful: light well, service passable (unfortunately only somewhat primitive wg the spongy keys areas that are fairly cheap feel.) Radio sound acceptable for a case of this kind, but of course no bliss.
Given the relatively low price certainly not a bad product, but totally out of the question because of the pesky, much too short guessed "sounds of nature" for me.
