First, the most important reason why I make my product opinion here:
- Many customers write here of a much too bright display. That I can not understand in the least. The display dims in darkness down so much that it's just read about acceptable. From a lighting of the room can be spoken at all. Even the glowing alarm activated at green ring is far from disturbing. Anyone who tries to 10cm distance with open eyes staring at the screen to sleep, may have something to have its difficulties. The rest was entwarnt!
- The often mentioned hum was apparently definitely resolved with a firmware update. I hear nothing.

I uploaded backlight pictures of my radio. Apparently, the lighting is for customers who complain of a too bright display, actually much higher. Accordingly, it must be of production fluctuations. Affected customers, I recommend the complaint or return.

What else is positive:
- I have very poor FM reception, so this acquisition. Although I according to the map of digital radio [dot] de only the outside have a DAB reception here, I receive 24 channels.
- I wake up is difficult, therefore, need a high volume. The buzz tone is more pleasant than at my previous alarm and loud enough. Very pleasant is the slowly rising volume, preserved from morgendlichem heart attack.

So overall I four stars. For the price I the buttons on the front are simply too cheap. The rest is as good as I expected.
