Note: use tube tips to avoid damaging your fork (to put between the fork and the collar).
I just finished the installation and it's not pie! We need all the screws fall well opposite the "rail" if we start. The only catch is that you can not fix the collars while having luggage rack in a good position ... so it takes time and we must do that to Wave view.
I used the collars on my 4 Suntour XCM fource 100mm travel (on 5 rockrider XC black and white) as the sorts of "squares" who set with screw brakes are too far apart to be able to fix the luggage rack (also should increase the length of the "rail" of these squares for more game).
This works on my fork with disc brakes (160mm Avid Elixir 5). I managed to pass the necklace BETWEEN the two fasteners caliper disc brake (even with the thickness of the tube).
Yet so I return promised tried edit my review + or - in my experience.
Benefits:
- Suitable for fairly large fork (tube diameter but also the gap between the tubes)
- Not heavy (750 gr)
- Not too expensive (25 euros)
- Low center of gravity, therefore also quite low (avoid tipping the bike)
- Suitable for bags ortlieb 2x15 liters (Sport packer classic)
Disadvantages:
- Long to install
- The installation requires a lot of rigor and often to undo what we just did not pass because it where you need it
- If my fork had bindings readily available (at the bottom of the fork and eyelet holes in the middle) I would have bought another model!
